Exhibition The Space Between Us of Ms Rose Staff will be opened on June 14, in Melbourne.
Rose Staff is Australian visual artist who has recently returned from a visual art residency in Tallinn. She had her residency in Polymer Culture Factory, a former toy factory now converted into an arts center. She has worked with a number of well known Estonian artists such as Sandra Jõgeva, Malle Leis and Erik Alalooga. Rose wishes to share her experiences of Estonia as a vibrant and unique place with Australia in the interests of cultural diplomacy and intercultural dialogue.
The works at exhibition feature the geography and landscape of Tallinn in the summer time using macro and aerial footage of the natural environment. It is both a series of photographs and video installation titled “The Space Between Us.”
